SHINElife began as an outlet for owner, Hilary, after losing her son at 20 weeks pregnant and facing the news that she would no longer be able to have children. On the emotional rollercoaster of grief and faith that follows a loss, Hilary began to design jewelry that would help her to stay focused on God's promises and a way to celebrate her son. She created the signature angel wing necklace - something discreet, yet powerful in her healing journey. Then a miracle happened, and Hilary was pregnant once more - since then her family has been blessed with 4 healthy baby girls. SHINElife was born through this journey creating jewelry pieces that focus on hope in such times of grief.

Hilary has found healing in creating jewelry for other people that are in the midst of their own struggles. Designing pieces to inspire hope and encourage hearts of others was the perfect way to process our own life - the good, the bad, the funny, and the ugly. She continues to create jewelry that inspires hope and focuses on not what you've been through, but what God has done with it.
